"I have been insured by this office for the past 6 or 7 yrs. My experience has been great with the staff and how they handle my auto policies. "i have held a license in florida 2008 and indiana 2009 when i moved there i owned a grand am,chevy impala,and nissan altima my insurance for my impala was $125 and my altima 148 im from another country that being said in indiana i lost my legal documents for my immigrant status my license which i fail to renew 1 day past my birthday which is common accidentally anyway i came to NY got all my documents renewed and started shopping for a car so i decided i may look at a car i purchased the vehicle for $2000 from a friend i called an agent and i was told 4800 for six months i was shocked and even more shocked that i should do a defensive driving class now im not upset at no one but 4800 a month i can put at least half of that on a morgage so now as a NYS employee my job is to drive my job is 10 mins away i walk for now but everytime i talk to an agent that just got this its NY another day at the office i just be lost like dont your driving record count from other states clean license no tickets or do agents just give you random numbers it cant be my age i started driving at 22 im currently 39 so why so much update my new quote is uninsurable i hold a D and B license with no voilations in years got another quote different company 7000 for 6 months with a clean license update12/13/2024 i am uninsurable with no logical reason in writing they just kept send me a letter talking around my driving record as to why im uninsurable i do know better since i operate dump trucks/snowplows for New York State DOT my driving record is checked every 30 days because my job is safety sensitive so i know fully well i cant be a high risk driver in a 26000lb vehicle NYS Certified with a class B license and they keep asking if you got DUI's if you got a CDL you will know fully that you cant have a DUI and keep ya gov. job in my case a dui makes me lost me state job and my federal job at the same time im not upset thats not it the fact that these folks are pitching you these numbers they should know in their head you aint gonna be no future customer my last quote was 9000+ Now i hope it changes with my military discount and please i really dont wanna hear thank you for your service 88m"

"I have been a customer of State Farm Insurance With the Win Dookram agency for many years. I was a very satisfied customer up until a few weeks ago when I needed some help for the first time. To make a long story short, I went to speak with Jeff at this agency and told him what my situation was and even if he couldn't help me, I was hoping he would offer some suggestions. At first he said no and that was it. Then I saw him get up and walk to the desk where I guess it was his boss was sitting there looking at a computer screen. When Jeff spoke with him for me, that man didn't even take his eyes off the screen and just nodded his head no. They offered no help, and no advice at all. I felt like they couldn't care less. I went to a local agency where I live in Kings park, and two ladies who are very helpful spent about 2 days trying to research some suggestions for my situation. They were so so helpful. That's all I was looking for from Jeff.. I did switch my agency from the Win Dookram agency to the one in Kings park. I just want to say how very very disappointed I was with Jeff and his boss. They offered nothing at all, just nodded their head no. It was very discouraged. Sincerely, Jim Miraglia"
